Start with a map of the environment, the situations to evaluate, and the people responsible for review before expanding the configured scope.
Map the environment
Review the site map, camera inventory, lighting, blind spots and connectivity. Mark where visual information is available and where the assessment needs a different input.
Set the zones and routes
Identify fences, gates, service roads, approaches, entrances, interiors and restricted areas. Include phase-specific worker, contractor and delivery routes as the site changes.
Check compatible inputs
Review access-control and perimeter-sensor interfaces. Assess optional drone viewpoints for feasibility, operating constraints and clear ownership before including them.
Agree the review plan
Select event scenarios, the responsible reviewer, escalation or dispatch ownership, data access and retention, and the method used to review the pilot.
Assessment outputs are conditional and site-specific: a mapped scope, defined workflows, agreed data handling and a pilot review plan. They do not establish guaranteed coverage, response time or performance.
Gate or service-road tailgating
Signal: camera context plus a compatible access event. Human review: the responsible security team checks the route and surrounding activity. Output: the agreed escalation or incident-review path.
Temporary construction gate
Signal: a changing zone map, contractor route or handover condition. Human review: site leads confirm permissions and coverage ownership. Output: an updated map and operating decision.
Perimeter inspection
Signal: a camera, sensor or optional drone viewpoint. Human review: an operator checks the condition and records the inspection action. Output: documented follow-up for the responsible team.
Person-down or physical hazard
Signal: a configured alert evaluated under actual site conditions. Human review: the safety team follows the site procedure. Output: a human-reviewed event record; this does not score worker productivity.
